I bought this pepper because I liked the shape and the fact that it wasn't so perfect. It had more of a green color when I purchased it on Saturday but has now turned red/orange.

Grandma's Creamer

I invaded my Mom's curio cabinet and found this old creamer. It caught my eye because it was shaped so beautifully and fit so nicely into the cup. My Mom said It was my Grandma's. I also found this old napkin that was hers. I thought they would look great together and I had to paint it!
While I was painting this piece I couldn't help but see my Grandma's loving smile. And I thought of what I would tell her. "I did it Grandma!" I am making a living with my art.

I had fun painting this one. This time I stuck with the larger brushes. Half of the fun was setting up the set. I am very happy with the result.

I went to the fruit and veggie market by my house and had a lot of fun picking out the props. I love browsing thru that store. Lots of cool looking fruits and veggies caught my eye so I picked a few for some upcoming paintings. Stay tuned.
