Lil' Bugger

This little Raccoon is from Cosley Zoo in Wheaton IL.  He was posing for me as if he wanted his portrait done. Well, here it is.

  2. El tamaño no importa. Este pequeño retrato lo demuestra. En él se condensan la franqueza, la inmediatez, la ternura de una mirada. Dicen que los animales no tienen alma, yo no estoy de acuerdo: la mirada de este mapache no sólo la tiene, sino que, además, es capaz de atravesar, de cuestionar, de conmover la de aquel humano que sea capaz de cruzar y mantener fija, la propia mirada con la suya.

  5. Mr. Brad - did I ever tell you I once lived with two Raccoons? No? They were named Rocky and Lola. They are gone now, but they would have appreciated this lovely painting.
