Bufalo Hot Sauce

8"x10" acrylic on masonite

After painting many other subjects in the past few weeks, I was in the mood for a still life. I wanted to do one with a bottle of some sort and thought this arrangement would be perfect. The background is very loose and I kept the subject detailed. I really enjoy painting in this style and can't wait to start another.

    You always amaze me with the variety in your work and how you can shift from landscapes, portraits to still life with such ease.

    This works well. Great job with all that lettering--the part that always trips me up. Love "Aslan"--great face--and what you said about your works growing on you. I find that too-although sometimes the opposite.

    Thank you Stephanie! Yes, the lettering is always a pain... I am not a fan of painting the lettering either. I would agree about the opposite. But that's a good thing isn't it? It only shows improvement.
