I have been enjoying painting the backgrounds very loosely and keeping my subject more refined in some of my latest works. I think I will do some more pieces like this in the future.
This is really wonderful!

DeleteThis is lovely Brad, I really like your handling of the background in such a loose way compared to the more finished look of the woman.
ReplyDeleteUn trabajo magnífico. Sumamente poético, Brad; lo encuentro muy Romántico y me ha hecho recordar en la pose a Ofelia del pintor George Frederic Watts.

This is gorgeous, Brad. I love the loose background, it's almost an echo of the shadows on her toga. Your cowboy and Stella paintings are also quite wonderful, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Frances!
DeleteHi Brad! You still know how to surprise me. Again a wonderful painting with great details. I'm very impressed!
ReplyDeleteThank you Renate!
DeleteI really really like this one, Brad. Great job. Her hands (and the entire painting, for that matter) are painted expertly.
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Love the highlights in her hair.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes - it's beautiful Brad!
